Description

This is an 18th-century icehouse located to the west of Whitedale House in Hambledon. It consists of a brick chamber that is shouldered to form a dome and tapers towards the base, with a drainage pit also present. The structure is situated beneath an earth mound and accessed by late 20th-century steps. This building possesses group value from its location within the wider historic landscape.
