Description

Pitshill Stud, originally the stables of Pitshill, is a building dating from around 1790 that has been restored and is now used as a house. It is constructed in stone with a slate roof and features casement windows. The structure is predominantly one storey and has a half H-shaped layout. The main or east wing includes eight windows and has a central projection with a carriage archway. Above this, there is a pediment over a low octagonal turret, although the cupola may be missing. The north and south wings served as coachhouses, each with three double doors.
