Description

Upperton Cottage is a 17th century or earlier timber-framed building that has been converted into a single house. The timber framing is exposed with plaster infilling on the north wall, while the east side has been refaced with stone rubble. The south side features stone and red brick on the ground floor, with tile-hanging above. The building has a hipped tiled roof and casement windows, standing two storeys tall with four windows in total. There is a modern addition on the north side that imitates the timbering style.
