Description

The gate-piers adjoining Milland House to the north are 18th century structures that likely once marked the entrance to a private drive leading to Milland House. The house itself, which largely dates from around 1900, is a rebuild of an earlier building. The gate-piers are made of square rusticated stone and are topped with ball caps, enclosed within a rectangular shape. They flank the public road.
