Description

Sorrels Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It was refaced in the late 18th century with red mathematical tiles. The building has two storeys and features three windows. It has a hipped tiled roof and casement windows with small square panes. There are two flat bays on either side of the doors, and the doorway is topped with a flat hood supported by brackets. The west wall is made of sandstone and includes a stone chimney breast with red brick offsets and a stack above. There is also a blocked window with a stone mullion and a dripstone above it.
