Description

The Parish Church of St Mary is a parish church located on Upper Street in Fittleworth. The building includes a chancel, a nave with aisles, a north porch, and a west tower topped with a broached shingled spire. The tower dates from the late 11th century, while the chancel is from the 13th century. The nave was completely rebuilt by Henry Woodyer in 1871. The church is listed as Grade I, primarily for the significance of the tower.
