Description
Heath Cottage and Wych Elm Cottage, formerly listed as No 34, are a pair of buildings dating from 1789. They consist of a long range of one storey and attic structures built over cellars, part of which was originally a malthouse. The buildings feature a tiled roof and are constructed from malmstone with brick facings. They have been significantly restored, with modern bay windows and dormers added to the east side. The west side, which is the rear, is less altered and has small ground floor windows set beneath segmental brick arches. Heath Cottage, Wych Elm Cottage, and the garden walls of these houses form a group.
