Description

1-5 Village Street is a group of 17th century cottages located on the south side of Village Street. Each cottage is one storey with an attic and features one window. They have flush gabled dormers that break the eaves of their high-pitched tiled roofs. The walls are pebble-dashed, and the cottages have 2- or 3-light replaced casement windows with glazing bars. The doors have been renewed. These cottages, along with The Queens Head Public House and other nearby properties, form a cohesive group.
