Description

St Francis Cottage and Croft Cottage is a timber-framed building from the 17th century or earlier, located on the south side of Charlton Road in Singleton. The north wall features exposed timbering with plaster infilling, and the first floor extends over the ground floor. The rest of the house has been refaced with flints, accented with brick dressings and quoins, all of which are currently painted. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. The building has two storeys and includes four casement windows.
