Description
Nos 24 and 26 are two houses dated 1762, with alterations made in the mid-19th century. They are constructed of hammer-dressed stone, with some parts rendered, and feature quoins and a stone slate roof with footstones. The buildings are two storeys high.
On the north-east elevation, the ground floor has an entrance in a porch, a three-light chamfered stone mullioned window, and a later window to the right. The first floor contains two later and altered single light windows, along with a four-light stone mullioned window from the 19th century.
The south-west elevation features a ground floor with a two-light double chamfered stone mullioned window, although the mullion has been removed. The south-east gable has an entrance with quoins, a deep lintel, and chamfered reveals, along with a large later single light window and a small two-light window in the apex of the gable, which has a chamfered mullion. A datestone on the south-east gable reads: CG 1762.
