Description

The Doric Column and Bust of the Sixth Duke is a Grade II listed structure located in Chatsworth Gardens, erected around 1840. It features an ancient fluted marble column from Minerva Sunnias, which stands on a square sandstone base. At the top of the column is a bust of the Sixth Duke of Devonshire, carved by Campbell around 1820. The gardens and park surrounding this monument are recognized on the Gardens Register at Grade I.
