Description

The parish boundary stone, dating from the 18th or 19th century, is located west of Shrigley Road in Pott Shrigley. It is a single stone, roughly dressed into a flat-topped, square-sectioned pillar with an irregular base. The east face of the stone features a roughly cut "S" for Shrigley, while the west face has a "B" for Bollington. A similar boundary stone can be found nearby at SJ 9386 7949. Part of this stone is situated in Bollington.
