Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the 16th or 17th century, with later remodelling and additions. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and has a clay tile roof with brick ridge stacks. The building has a T-shape plan, originally consisting of a two-bay hall range and a two-bay parlour wing. The hall range was extended to the east, and a rear extension was added, probably in the 19th century. The farmhouse has two storeys and features a 1:3 window arrangement, with a gabled crosswing to the left. The windows are casements, some of which retain flat-faced mullions, and those in the crosswing have flat dripstones. There is a half-glazed door to the right with a flat lintel. Inside, there is a wooden screen opposite the entrance and a raised cruck truss that springs from just below the first floor level.
