Description
The stable block and granary, located east of Wetton Mill House, dates from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed of coursed and squared rubble, featuring rough-faced ashlar quoins and dressings. The building has a clay tile roof with coped verges on kneelers. The main two-storey section on the left includes a gable-lit loft, two top-opening windows on the ground floor, a central stable-type door, and a square loft entry with a board door. There is also a first-floor door on the west gable and a two-light mullioned window above. The attached single-storey extension on the right has two top-opening windows and a central stable-type door. Additionally, there is a low 20th-century lean-to brick extension on the left gable, which features a board door and a small-pane sash window at the west end. This building is part of a picturesque grouping of structures.
