Description
This 18th-century statue is located at the end of the vista to the east of the Ring Pond in Chatsworth Gardens. It features a rectangular ashlar pedestal with apsidal ends, raised and fielded panels, and a moulded base and cornice. The lead statue depicts a mythological male figure carrying a goat on his shoulders. This statue was brought to Chatsworth from Chiswick. The Gardens and Park are listed on the Gardens Register at Grade I.
