Description

Nos 2, 4, and 6 on Meal Hill Road form a terrace built in 1791. The buildings are constructed from hammer-dressed stone and feature quoins. They have a stone slate roof with gable copings supported by moulded kneelers. An ashlar stack with a moulded cap is present, along with moulded stone brackets supporting the gutter. The terrace is two storeys high and has an entrance with a small fanlight. To the left, there are two bays with 3-light stone mullioned windows, and to the right, there is one bay with a 3-light window. Above the doorway, a datestone reads: B J . S 1791.
