Description
Ronksley Hall Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse located on Ronksley Lane in Bradfield. It is constructed of deeply coursed rough-ashlar gritstone and features a stone slate roof with a symmetrical facade. The building has two storeys and an attic, with three windows on the first floor. All windows have double-chamfered surrounds, renewed mullions, and wooden casements.
The farmhouse has large quoins and a chamfered plinth. The central entrance consists of a part-glazed panelled door with a five-pane overlight, all set within a deeply chamfered quoined surround. Flanking the door are three-light windows with a dripmould above. The first floor features a central two-light window, also flanked by three-light windows, with a dripmould above.
Additional architectural details include moulded kneelers and gable copings. The roof has a central rooflight with a 20th-century dormer on each side, and there are ashlar end stacks with moulded strings and cornices. The building was incorrectly marked on the Ordnance Survey map as Rivelin Side.
