Description
This is a barn located to the northeast of Pictor Hall, built in 1794, as indicated by the datestone on the south wall that reads "G & S Goodwin." The barn is constructed from coursed squared limestone with gritstone dressings, featuring coped gables and a ball finial at the northeast end, along with an added bellcote at the southwest end. The roof is stone slated.
On the north elevation, the barn has two storeys and four bays, which include five doorways with massive lintels and quoined surrounds. There are four taking-in doorways on the first floor, all with quoined surrounds, and all openings are fitted with plain planked doors.
