Description

This barn, located 60 meters south of Rose Cottage, dates back to 1688. It is constructed of coursed stone and features a blue machine tile roof with verge parapets. The barn has an opposed-entry plan and is two stories high with three roof bays, built on sloping ground. On the ground floor, there is a sash window and two entrances; the left entrance has a Tudor head. The first floor includes two pitching doors and vent slits on both floors. There is a Tudor-arched entry opposite the front entrance, which has the inscription "RB 1688" on the lintel.
