Description

This is an outbuilding located to the southwest of the Vicarage in Tideswell, dating from the early 19th century. It serves as stables and a carriage house, constructed from rubble limestone with gritstone dressings. The building has a single-storey design and features a concrete tiled roof with single brick ridge stacks.

On the northeast elevation, there are four windows; two of these have shallow arched heads, while the other two have plain lintels. The northwest gable includes a shallow ogee arch that leads to the carriage entrance, which is fitted with plain planked doors. This outbuilding is listed for its group value with the Vicarage.
