Description
Chamberknoll Farmhouse and the attached outbuilding date from the mid-18th century, with some alterations made in the 19th century. The building is constructed from coursed rubble limestone with gritstone dressings, featuring plain gables and intermediate stone ridge stacks that are coupled and diagonally set. The roof is stone slated.
The farmhouse is two storeys high and has a six-bay layout, with the house and outbuilding each comprising three bays. The front of the house has three bays with 3-light mullioned windows; the ground floor windows have lozenge glazing, while the upper floor windows feature leaded quarries. There is a central doorway with a shallow pointed arched head and a plain planked door. The outbuilding is attached to the west end of the house and includes three plain doorways and one taking-in door, all fitted with plain planked doors.
