Description
The Vicarage is a vicarage built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed from rubble limestone and gritstone ashlar, topped with a stone slate roof featuring stone coped gables and plain kneelers. The building has stone gable end stacks and stands two storeys tall.
On the south elevation, there are raised quoins on the left side, with remnants of quoins visible on the right. The left section features a glazing bar sash window set in a stone surround, along with a doorway that has a stone surround and a hoodmould. The door is half glazed and topped with a semi-circular fanlight. Above this entrance, there are two additional glazing bar sashes, also in stone surrounds.
To the right, there is a large two-storey canted bay window with a coped parapet and a stone band at the base of the parapet. The ground floor of the bay has a plain sash window flanked by two narrow sashes. On the upper floor, there are three glazing bar sashes, with the outer ones being narrow. It is noted that the canted bay is an addition to the original structure.
