Description
This is a farm outbuilding located to the north-north-east of Pictor Hall, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed from coursed squared rubble limestone with gritstone dressings. The building features rusticated quoins at the north-east end, coped gable ends, and ashlar stacks at the ridge, topped with a stone slate roof.
The outbuilding is two storeys high and has three bays. Originally, it had glazing bar sashes in flush stone frames, but now only two sashes remain, while the other window openings have been altered. There is a central double doorway with a massive lintel and a quoined surround, as well as another doorway at the north-east end, also with a quoined surround, both featuring plain planked doors. A single-storey range extends eastwards from the north end. This building is listed for its group value only.
