Description
Abingdon House and the house adjoining to the west are early 19th-century buildings that serve as a house and shop. They are constructed from coursed squared stone and feature a Welsh slate roof with stone copings and shaped kneelers, along with brick chimneys. The buildings are two storeys high and consist of three bays, which are very irregular in arrangement. The early 19th-century shop front includes bow windows with glazing bars on either side of a double door that has an oblong fanlight above it, all set beneath a continuous entablature. The other windows are 20th-century small-paned casements, and there is a boarded door. The shop front is a notable feature of the buildings.
