Description
Rose Cottage is a cottage built in the late 18th century or early 19th century, which was restored in 1935, as indicated by the date and initials C.N. on the new door lintel. The cottage is constructed of coursed squared stone and features a pantiled roof with stone copings and rounded kneelers, along with end brick chimneys. It has one and a half storeys and consists of two bays. The upper windows are 20th-century small-paned casements set in coped stone gables that rest on the eaves. On the ground floor, there are replaced triple sash windows with glazing bars, which flank a top-glazed six-panel door that is situated under a bracketed flat stone hood.
