Description

Chapel Cottage is a house, formerly a house and cottage, that has an early 19th century appearance, possibly with a 17th century core. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and features a pantiled roof with stone copings. The building has been fitted with rebuilt brick chimneys at the center and ends. It stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical facade with two bays on each side. The cottage section includes a top glazed six-panel door and 19th century three-light, one-bar casements. There is a one-storey extension to the right and a small pentice beyond, along with a gable end window.
