Description

This is an 18th-century footbridge over Gurtuff Beck, constructed from coursed squared stone. It features a low segmental arch with a peaked band above, end pilasters, and a three-course iron-banded parapet with a round-sectioned top. Sloping stone causeways lead up to the bridge from the lower ground level on either side. Originally, the bridge would have been situated at one side of a yard that is now crossed by the road.
