Description

Two tombstones, dating from 1720 and 1723, are located 15 metres south of the centre of the chancel of the Church of St Mary. Both tombstones are made of stone and feature well-lettered inscriptions. One has a shaped top and commemorates Abel Hardwick, who was buried on December 21, 1720. The other is a short rectangular block with an inscription in a border on top, commemorating R Hardwick, who was buried in November 1723.
