Description
Kerr's Farmhouse and the adjoining stable are a farmhouse dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. The building is constructed of coursed squared stone and features a pantiled roof with stone copings and square kneelers, along with one brick and stone chimney. The farmhouse is two storeys high and consists of three sections: the west front includes a cottage and farmhouse with one and two bays, and there is a lower two-storey south wing. To the right, there are pent extensions. The windows are 19th-century one-bar casements set under keyed lintels. Inside, the south wing has an early ceiling with heavy chamfered beams and joists. The one-storey stable range to the south is made of similar materials and features Dutch doors, with a slightly curved plan.
