Description

The Village Pound, dating from the 18th century, is located to the west of the Box Tree Farm buildings on Village Street in Lockton. It is constructed of dressed limestone and features an iron gate. The pound is a rectangular enclosure formed by the western wall of the Box Tree Farm buildings and walls that are approximately 1 meter high. The structure has gabled coping and an iron gate that is set into stone gate posts at the left-hand corner.
