Description
Ferndale Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared stone and features a Lakeland slate roof, complete with stone copings and square kneelers. The building has end stone chimneys and stands two storeys tall, with an attic window located in the gable end. The front of the house has two windows, which are later 19th-century sashes, and a central door with four panels. There is a one-storey extension on the right side of the farmhouse.
