Description

This is a tombstone for George Taylor, located approximately 3 metres south of the east end of the chancel of the Church of St Mary. It dates from 1723 and is made of stone. The tombstone is a short rectangular block featuring well-crafted lettering at the top, enclosed in a border that reads, 'George Taylor buried October AD 1723', with decorative scrolls on either side.
