Description
Severadus and Bank Cottage is a house that has been divided into two dwellings. It likely dates from the 17th century and was raised in height in the early 19th century. The building features a cruck frame, hammer dressed sandstone, a pantile roof, and brick stacks. It has a lobby-entry plan and stands two storeys tall with four windows on the first floor. The entrance includes a four-panel door, with two casements to the left and one casement to the right. There are also casements on the first floor, along with end stacks and ridge stacks. Inside, two pairs of crucks are still visible.
