Description

Mill House is a house dated 1729, with a 19th-century addition. It is built of sandstone ashlar and features projecting quoins, a French tile roof, and brick stacks. The house has a central lobby-entry plan and stands two storeys high, with two windows on the first floor. The entrance consists of a six-panel door with two upper glazed panels, flanked by two-light Yorkshire sash windows that have wooden lintels. There is a datestone to the left of the door. The first floor has casement windows. The roof is steeply pitched, with gable coping and shaped kneelers, and there are stacks at each end. The 19th-century addition is not of special interest.
