Description
The stable block attached to the north-east of The Old Mill is a stables and carriage shed with a loft above, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble and features a pantile roof. The building has a gabled 1.5-storey central bay flanked by single-storey bays. The carriage shed on the right has double board doors leading to each stable on the left, which also includes a slatted window. There is a board lifting door to the central bay. This structure is included for its group value with The Old Mill.
