Description

Mount Pleasant Farmhouse is a house built in the early 19th century. The front is made of squared sandstone, while the sides and rear are constructed from rubble sandstone. It has a pantile roof with rebuilt brick chimney stacks. The layout features a 2-cell, direct-entry plan with a rear service wing on the left. The house is two stories tall and has a three-window front. There is a board door to the left of center, which is accessed by stone steps. Above the door is a 2-light, small-pane, horizontal sliding-sash window, and the other windows are similar 3-light sliding sashes. All windows have stone sills. The building features a stepped eaves course, coped gables, and shaped kneelers, along with end and center stacks. The farmhouse is included for its group value.
