Description
This boundary stone, dating from the early 19th century, is located approximately 1520 meters southwest of Home Farmhouse in Hutton Lowcross. It is made of roughly dressed limestone and measures about 75 cm long by 37 cm square. The stone is inscribed with "T.K.S. 1815" and is recumbent. It stands on a cairn, which is part of the boundary between the former Newton and Pinchinthorpe Civil Parishes. The cairn itself is a scheduled ancient monument.
