Description

The farmhouse at Brown Howe, dating from the late 18th century, is a two-storey building constructed of coursed stone with a steep pantile roof and brick stacks at the gable ends. It features five windows with thin lintels and sliding sashes. The ground floor has two windows with stone lintels, although these have modern glazing. There is a plain door with a similar stone lintel above it. The farmhouse is flanked by adjoining outbuildings that are one storey in height.
