Description
A row of nine boundary stones, dating from around 1835, is located on the border with Westerdale County Parish, running south from just west of High Crag to 200 yards west of the old quarry. These boundary stones are made of hard sandstone and have a square section, standing about 1 meter high with roughly-rounded tops. The east face of each stone is inscribed with a "D" for Danby, while the west face features a "W" for Westerdale. The tops of the stones are whitewashed.
