Description

Middle Bridge is a bridge over the Swainby Beck, likely built in the early 19th century. It is constructed from large coursed sandstone and features chamfered coping. The bridge has a single segmental arch with cut voussoirs, a roadbed-level band, a fairly tall parapet, and square end piers. It is included in the listing for its group value.
