Description
This boundary stone dates from the 18th century and is made of sandstone. It stands approximately 0.6 metres high and features a rounded head. The east side of the stone is inscribed with the letter 'C', which refers to the Cholmley family, who were the owners of the former Whitby Abbey lands until the late 19th century. The stone is now located in the parish of Fylingdales Moor.
