Description

Poplar House is a house and cottage that have been combined into one residence. It dates from the early 19th century and features rendered walls. The northern part, which is the cottage, has a new pantiled roof and is L-shaped. It has two storeys, one window, and a part extension with a canted bay. The windows are 20th-century sash windows, and there is a 20th-century door with an oblong fanlight in the right projection. The southern part, which is the house, has a new large pantiled roof with stone copings. It also has two storeys and two windows, with 20th-century casements and a 20th-century glazed porch.
