Description

This is a headstone for James Wieldon, located approximately 5 metres south of the centre of the chancel of the Church of St Mary. It dates from 1767 and is made of stone. The headstone features a well-lettered inscription that reads, "James, Son of Thos Wieldon. Buried June 19th 1767," and is flanked by rusticated pilasters topped with an open pediment.
