Description

This double tombstone, dating from the early 18th century, is located approximately 7 metres south of the east end of the chancel of the Church of St Mary. It is made of stone and features a short, wide block shape. The tombstone has a well-lettered but worn inscription on the top and side, which includes the words 'It is no wonder --- Our hopes be mild ------- -- Was a child'.
