Description

Smugglers Cottage and Mr Crowden's warehouse adjoining is a house and warehouse dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. The structure is built of stone, with the warehouse rendered. It features pantiled roofs, with the house having two storeys and the warehouse having one storey. The building has an irregular layout with three bays for the house and two bays for the warehouse. The house has modern windows and a door, while the warehouse retains 19th-century doors. The waterfront elevation is more original, showcasing a segmental relieving arch in the basement.
