Description

The Chapel on Tiptoe Road in Wootton dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick with grey headers and features stucco dressings. The slate roof has a gabled end that faces the road, complete with bargeboard and a finial. The building is accented by flanking stucco corner pilasters and stucco window arches. A central gabled porch includes an arched door, with a window above it. All windows are designed with Gothic glazing bars. The Chapel, along with the house to the west and Wootton Hall, forms a cohesive group.
