Description

Wootton Old Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse, altered in the 19th century. It is now a house. Constructed of brick with an old plain tile roof, the original design was for a two-story, five-bay structure. A lean-to has been added to one end, and a rear range extends one bay at the other. The front has a central timber and tile gable porch. To the left of the porch is a large 19th-century six-pane sash window; to the right, there are two similar sashes. The first floor has a raised band at sill level with twelve-pane sashes. The roof is half-hipped, with a central ridge stack and a stack on the left-hand end, above a tall lean-to, which has a four-light casement window.
