Description

The bridge over the River Avon, located about 100 metres east-southeast of Breamore Mill, dates from the late 19th century. It is constructed of cast iron and rests on brick and concrete piers. This two-span bridge features a deck supported by I-section girders and has ornate ironwork parapets. The decorative panels are framed in squares and are supported by large scroll brackets that extend from the girders, which are cantilevered out from the deck.
