Description
High Green Farmhouse and attached buildings date from the 17th century and are arranged in an L plan. The rear features a long range of buildings made of white-washed stone rubble, topped with a low slate roof that creates a canopy over the barn entrance. There is a hay loft at the west end, accessible via a ramp from higher ground. The house, positioned at right angles at the east end, faces south and has two low storeys. It includes two slate dripstones, two new casement windows on the ground floor, and three above. For additional context, refer to the general group description under Troutbeck Village.
