Description

Greensyke is a house dating from 1765, as indicated by the rainwater head marked 'BHE/1765'. It is constructed of roughcast stone and features a slate roof. The building stands two storeys high and has three bays. The windows are sashed and have single glazing bars. The entrance is adorned with a stone porch that has a consoled segmental pediment, although it is mostly obscured by foliage. There are gable-end stacks, and the rear of the house includes a small-paned stair window. Greensyke is included in the listing for its group value.
